The Women of Grace Scholarship (WGS) is named in honor of Dr. Janet Hogan Harrison, Naomi “Hollis” Brannon, and Georgia “Louise” Kimble. These dynamic women serve the Baldwin County Community and exhibit true leadership, pose, and beauty. This $1,000.00 scholarship will be awarded to one young lady, that is a graduating senior at Baldwin High School, that exhibits leadership skills and a true desire to uplift her community
Scholarship Application Rules and Instructions
Applicants must complete their application based on the following rules and instructions to be eligible for consideration. Failure to follow instructions may disqualify applicants.
Applicant Instructions
- Use the form below to complete the application. Applications and essay should be typed, NOT handwritten.
- Once applicants have completed the application, they should upload the complete application and a 250 word or less typed essay answering the following question: “How have your life experiences or background shaped who you are, and how will they contribute to your success in the future?” Please make sure of the following:
- The Essay is double space, Times New Roman 12 Font only, Justify paragraph.
- The essay should be written by the applicant.
- The essay should state the applicant’s name.
- The essay must be submitted in a pdf format.
- Recommendation letter must be from a person that is either from or lives currently in Baldwin County, Georgia, and is NOT related to the applicant. The recommendation letter must provide the following information:
- How they know the applicant.
- How long have they known the applicant.
- The applicant’s work history, community service activities, church involvement, social/civil work, or school/extracurricular activities, (to the extent known to the person writing the recommendation letter).
- The reference’s full name, address, phone number, and email address.
- A headshot of the applicant (preferably a senior picture), jpeg or pdf format only.
- The applicant’s most recent unofficial transcript, uploaded in pdf format (No screenshot).
- The application, essay, reference letter, headshot, and unofficial transcript must be uploaded to the dropboxes located on the Hogan Law Firm website no later than March 14, 2025, by 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time. Late submissions will not be accepted. Only documents submitted through the dropboxes will be accepted.

- Any problems with the dropboxes please email Kalen Puckett, kalen@goebelmedia.com. (Please allow 24 business hours for a response.) DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!
- Please make sure you are provide accurate contact information. Interviews maybe utilized to further access each applicant.
- The winner of the scholarship will be announced at the Baldwin High School Honor’s Day Program.
- The scholarship check will be endorsed to the college/university/technology school the applicant will be attending. The applicant must provide the admission acceptance letter before the scholarship check will be issued.
- By submitting an application you are granting permission to the Hogan Law Firm, LLC to post your headshot and brief synopsis about you on the Firm’s website, on social media, in the Union Recorder, Baldwin Bulletin, and on a local billboard.
