Facing a Criminal Issue? You don’t have to face it alone. Our Firm provides defense representation and can represent you at every phase of the criminal process. Remember, everyone’s case is different and the final outcome varies from individual to individual. Factors such as criminal history, degree of offense, and availability of witnesses and alibis etc. can impact your case.
The first step in handling your case is to meet with us to discuss your particular situation. Do NOT speak to anyone except a criminal defense attorney about case, (not even family members, friends, or church family).
SECOND – Take a few minutes to write down or tape record all the details of your case. Doing this may help you recall important facts and information during our meeting. Document the following information: time of arrest; the name(s) of the arresting officer(s); whether a warrant for your arrest exists; whether you received a search warrant; when, where, and how long you were interrogated; whether you made an oral or written statement; where your Miranda Rights read to you. Did you agree to submit to a Intoxyler or Blood test. Etc.
THIRD – Make a list of questions you know you want us to answer during your consultation. This will ensure that you leave our office with the answers you need.
FOURTH – Bring all paperwork and materials that are directly related to your case including any court notices, subpoenas, citations, police reports, search warrants, names of any witnesses or co-defendants, or pleadings. If you do not have this paperwork, please do not panic, we will help you gather any important documents. Being knowledgeable about your criminal report will help us better assess your case, but if you are unsure about your criminal past that is ok.
At the initial meeting, our office will review your case in detail and go through the best strategies for your case. Once the Firm is retained, we will then gather all the evidence needed to represent you. Our staff is expertly trained in investigative techniques, legal research, and courtroom strategies.
Going to court can be a frightening experience. In the event you are required to appear in court, The Hogan Law Firm, LLC will be there to ensure your constitutional rights are protected. We endeavor to bring an efficient resolution to your case through other means, such as conditional discharge, pre-trial diversion programs, substance abuse counseling, mental health therapy, anger management classes, defensive driving classes, and domestic violence counseling, and community service.
